Summary
At the beginning of the month I said that things were slowing down. While that was true then, the Calavera Hills real estate market finished the month strong. Overall, in both Carlsbad and Calavera Hills, the number of sales increased from April to May. While Carlsbad had a 5% increase in the number of sales since last month, Calavera Hills had a 10% increase. This reaffirms my belief that Calavera Hills is a highly desirable community.
