Summary
Things are still active in Calavera Hills! 11 (of 16) subdivisions saw some market activity, with Summerhouse, the Villas and Ravinia being the most active. Similar to the beginning of the month, 20% of the properties had a price change/reduction, but since all those properties have been on the market for a few weeks, that is no surprise. Only one home (in Barrington) sold for above asking price, but all the rest of the homes averaged 99% of asking price!
On a different note, Carlsbad summer TGIF concert series are in full swing. There is a latin/salsa band this week at Poinsettia Park, and in a few weeks Calavera Hills will be hosting two of the concerts. Be sure to visit the Summer Concert Schedule. I took my family to the July 24 concert and had a great time. If you haven’t been to a concert, they are a lot of fun! Be sure to show up early for parking and bring a blanket, chairs and picnic supplies and you won’t be disappointed.
