Here’s an overview of what happened this week in Calavera Hills

Villas

The Villas saw the most action this week with 2 properties being sold–both in less than 30 days–and one new property was listed. As I mentioned last week, the Villas (the lowest priced subdivision in Calavera Hills) is a good entry point for first time home buyers and investors, and as such the properties seemed to be getting snapped up fairly quickly.

Mystic Point

Mystic Point was also busy this week with 2 homes going under contract and one new property coming on the market. One home went under contract in two days (!) and the other 21 days–so don’t expect the property that hit the market this week to last long. As mentioned on the All Calavera Hills Real Estate page, Mystic point has the highest turnover in all Calavera Hills, averaging 34 properties in 2013 and 21 properties in 2014.

Summary

Calavera Hills homes are coming on the market and selling pretty rapidly. With things moving so quickly, it’s a good idea to get pre-approved for your loan, so when you do find the right property, you can present your offer with the pre-approval letter–making your offer that much stronger in this tight market.
