Summary
Properties that have been sitting on the market for more than 3 weeks all lowered their asking prices. Of those that are sold and lowered their asking price, their final prices were $11,000 and $19,000 less than their reduced asking prices. I’m guessing that there were some motivated sellers out there who were tired of waiting, and some lucky buyers to get a Calavera Hills property at a discount! On the whole, things are still looking very healthy, with a respectable average of 20 days on market and average sale prices almost matching those in August: $550,000. I’m guessing this trend will continue: fewer properties on market, but Calavera Hills desirability slowing a dramatic decrease in average sales price.
